Abstract

1331897 Rotary printing machines ADAMOVSKE STROJIRNY NARODNI PODNIK 19 May 1972 [20 May 1971] 23724/72 Heading B6C In a rotary printing machine in which sheets are fed to the impression cylinder 3 and held thereon by grippers 20 the latter are associated with mechanical feelers 1 which actuate the machine and feeder control if a sheet is not fed to the impression cylinder or if a sheet so fed is not properly aligned. More than two feelers are used each rotatably mounted on a shaft 2 and urged by springs 7 outwardly into a position which may cause a cam follower 12 to engage a cam 15 and operate a stop mechanism. The shaft 2 is mounted in the impression cylinder and carries abutments 6 against which the feelers may be adjustably placed.
