1328201 Air conditioning units A G SUTHERLAND Ltd 28 Aug 1970 [31 May 1969] 27686/69 Heading F4V An air conditioning unit for use in a hot air central heating system comprises a container 14 having an inlet 18 and an outlet 16, a centrifugal blower 10 within the container 14, with its outlet connected directly to the container outlet 16, and an air impermeable plastics lining 21 for the container 14. The inlet 18 includes a filter 20, and the blower 10 passes air downwardly over a combustion products outlet duct from a gas burner. The plastics lining 21 is painted or sprayed on to the walls of the container, or alternatively is preformed, in which case it may be adhered to the container walls. The lining may be made of polythene, and may include closable access openings.
