1326557 Percussive tools ROBERT BOSCH GmbH 21 Dec 1970 [27 Dec 1969] 60456/70 Heading B4C In a percussive tool, movement of a tool holder 5 forwardly relative to a casing 1 upon impacting of an anvil 20 against surface 27 is permitted by three compression springs 16 each mounted on a bolt 14 passing through apertures in a flange 6 of the holder 5 and the casing and screw-threadedly secured to a sleeve 2 within the casing. Overtravel of the anvil rearwardly is cushioned by a spring biased stop ring 10. Nuts 17 retaining the springs 16, which are of square section, include friction inserts 18.
