Abstract

1324676 Norbornane-spiro-dioxolan derivatives DELALANDE SA 25 Feb 1972 [18 March 1971] 8771/72 Heading C2C The invention comprises compounds of formula wherein either R 1 and R 2 are each C 2 or C 3 alkyl, or NR 1 R 2 is pyrrolidino, piperidino, hexamethyleneimino or morpholino. These compounds are prepared by reacting camphor with epibromohydrin to give the precursor of the above compounds having Br in place of NR 1 R 2 , followed by reaction of the latter with HNR 1 R 2 . Therapeutic compositions for oral, parenteral or rectal administration comprise compounds of the above formula, which have hypotensive, vasodilatory, spasmolytic, diuretic, analgesic, antiinflammatory and antidepressive activity.
