Abstract

1323055 False ceiling BURGESS PRODUCTS CO Ltd 20 Aug 1970 [12 Sept 1969] 45229/69 Heading E1W False ceiling panels 10 are pivotally mounted at one end on a first elongate member 2, and fastened at the other end to a second elongate member 2. The elongate members 2 are fastened to walls by wall brackets 4 via bolts 6 and may, as shown, carry closure pieces 8 as well as the elongate members 2. Members 2 are of unequal-leg channel-section. Pivot brackets 12 are screwed to the first member 2 and each has a pin 13, which passes through adjacent up-turned edge flanges of two adjacent panels and is surrounded by a bush 16, and also has a split pin 18 passed therethrough. The second elongate member 2 carries an elongate clip member 22 which can support the edge flanges of the panels via protuberances (20, Fig. 1, not shown) on said flanges.
