Abstract

1,056,897. Partitions. BELLROCK GYPSUM INDUSTRIES Ltd. Sept. 29, 1965 [Nov. 3, 1964], No. 44718/64. Heading E1W. A partition comprises a stud 12 of channel section having a closure plate 14 extending the length of the normally open side thereof to increase the rigidity. The plate 14 has inwardly directed portions 15 which resiliently grip the side portions 16 of the stud 12. Apertures 18 or knock-out sections in the members 14 and in the base 17 of the channel may be provided to permit passage of cables, wiring and the like. Apertures 21 in the side walls 19 of the stud facilitate entry of screwed fastening devices 20 into the studs.
