1320689 Connectors for panels; clamps DOLPHIN DESIGN ASSOCIATES Ltd and K H KIRKWOOD 18 Nov 1970 [18 Nov 1969] 56446/69 Headings E1W and E2B A connector for structural panels comprises two cylindrical rubber or resilient plastics members 12, 13 one of which has a slot 14 and the other of which has either a bore for a threaded shaft of a foot 22 or a slot similar to that of the member 12. The two members 12, 13 are clamped in a part cylindrical recess of arc greater than 180‹ formed by two jaw members 10, 11 each with two part cylindrical recesses less than 180‹ each. The jaw portions may be of a light alloy or plastics. The threaded shaft may be connected by a ball and socket joint to the foot 22 which supports the panels of a partition interconnected by slotted cylindrical members of the connector.
