Abstract

1320102 Blow-moulding printed containers ROBERT BOSCH VERPACKUNGMASCHINEN GmbH 18 May 1971 [2 June 1970] 15471/71 Heading B5A Printed containers, e.g. bottles are formed by blow-moulding a plastics preform which has been printed with an image while solid. The preform may be formed by injection moulding from polystyrene, polyethylene, polypropylene or polyvinyl chloride and may be stretched with a male plunger and blow-moulded. The bottles may have a non-circular cross-section, e.g. square or oval, the preform being oriented when inserted in the blow-mould so that the printed image is on the appropriate surface of the blowmoulded article.
