1319405 Reciprocating pumps or motors ROBERT BOSCH GmbH 15 March 1972 [17 March 1971] 11984/72 Heading F1A In a swash-plate pump or motor, the rotary cylinder block 9 is biased into sealing contact with the valve plate 16 by the action of a helical splined connection 8,11 between the cylinder block and the drive shaft 6. For rotation of the cylinder block in either direction, the splining is orientated in two directions. A spring 26 also biases the cylinder block towards the valve plate.
