Couplings for road vehicles.-A motorvehicle fitting for attaching to the tail skid of an aeroplane for haulage purposes comprises a shoe E fitted with lugs K and straps L, a screw gripping-device N and an end piece for attachment to the skid. The shoe is pivoted to an upright A which is attached to a frame member of the vehicle by means of a nut C and distance-piece B so as to swing about a vertical axis.
