Abstract
1315667 Coated electrode BAYER AG 12 March 1970 [19 March 1969] 11899/70 Heading B2E [Also in Division C7] Magnetite, molybdenum disilicide, zirconium boride, titanium carbide or chromium nitride is plasma sprayed onto a binary Fe/Si alloy having a minimum Si content of 15% by weight to make an anode for electrolysis of an aqueous alkali metal chloride solution using a mercury cathode. Magnetite may be plasma sprayed onto an alloy of 22.9% Si, 77.1% Fe.
