Abstract

1315274 Discharging material from bunkers F TESKE L TESKE and R DREISMANN 19 April 1971 [24 Feb 1970] 22317/71 Heading B8S Material is removed from a bunker having a central passage 1 by a wheel 8 which is moved along the passage to clear material from a slot 4 at one side of the passage and back again to clear material from the slot at the opposite side. The peripheral speed of the wheel is substantially equal to the feeding speed thereof, i.e. approximately 10 m./min. Material falls down a shoot 12 on to an endless conveyer 13. The wheel is driven in a direction such that the tines which are engaging the material are moving in the feed direction.
