1315151 Shoots J D WILSON and A S MACCAIG 19 April 1971 [2 Jan 1970] 276/70 Heading B8S In a device for feeding flowable material from an inlet 19 to any one of three outlet shoots 13, 14, 15, the material is deflected to the appropriate outlet by first and second sliding shoots 22, 26. The shoots 22, 26 are mounted on rollers within a body 10 by flanges. The bottom shoot 26 is moved to any of the three outlet positions by two pneumatic cylinders 35, 36, mounted outside the body 10, which pivot on arm 30 attached to a shaft 43 rotated by a chain 40 and a pinion 41. The arm 30 has a pin and slot connection 44, 45 with the shoot 26. The top of the shoot 26 always embraces the bottom of shoot 22.
