Abstract

1312113 Cylinders C BURKERT 3 April 1970 [5 April 1969] 15841/70 Heading F2T A piston-and-cylinder assembly includes a one-piece injection-moulded part of plastics comprising a cylindrical tube or casing 1, an end piece having a neck 3 forming a bearing for the piston-rod 2, a pressure medium connection 14 and a screw-thread 20 on the casing for securing the cylinder in position. The other end of the casing is closed by a plug 11 having pressure medium connections 12, 13. The plastics may be of glass fibre reinforced polyamide. The piston 6 is sealed by U-rings 7 and carries impact rings 9 of elastic material.
