Abstract

1309265 Track aligning machines F. PLASSER [trading as FRANZ PLASSER BAHNBAUMASCHINEN] 10 March 1970 [28 March 1969] 11508/70 Heading B7N In a track aligning machine, the ends &c., of the reference line or chord system are held at a fixed position relative to the grade rail by a remote control drive arrangement. Assuming rail 15<SP>1</SP> is the grade rail, the left hydraulic piston 20<SP>1</SP> is energized moving the flange of wheel 14 into contact with rail 25 and the support 18 to the right into contact with abutment 25<SP>1</SP> thereby moving the flange of wheel 14<SP>1</SP> into contact with grade rail 15<SP>1</SP>. The-end of the reference line or chord passes over pulley 20, mounted on the support 18, to tensioning spool 22. When rail 15 is the grade rail the right hand piston 20<SP>1</SP> is energized moving the elements to the broken line positions.
