Abstract

1302878 Air-filter frame ROTALECTORS Ltd 15 Dec 1970 [15 Dec 1969] 61058/69 Heading BIT A frame for housing air-filtering media to form a filter having two flat parallel inlet/ outlet surfaces comprises four upstanding walls 10, a lattice 12 being fitted at one end of the walls and the other ends of the walls being bent inward through an angle of greater than 90‹ to form a lip 14. Holes 16 may be provided for joining a number of frames together The frame is suitably made of metal which is then coated in plastics material, e.g. polyethene, polypropylene or polyvinyl chloride. The frame is described in use with two flat sheets of polyurethane foam filtering material which are placed one on top of the other on top of the mesh and are held in place by the lip. One sheet of material is for fine filtration, the other for coarse filtration.
