Abstract

1302875 Cooking vessels D POWELL 26 Nov 1970 [4 Dec 1969] 59176/69 Heading A4A A cooking vessel is divided into two compartments, one of which is closed and is to contain the heating liquid with which it is filled through an aperture and the other of which is open and is to contain the commodity to be heated. In the embodiment illustrated the vessel is a jug comprising a closed annular compartment 10 and an open cylindrical compartment 11. The compartment 10 is closed by an upper wall 12 in which there is a filling aperture 13 provided with a whistle cover or release valve 14, and also a pouring spout 15 for the commodity to be heated. In a second embodiment, Fig.2 (not shown), the vessel is formed with a lower closed compartment (24) with a filling aperture (25) and an upper open compartment (23).
