1299764 Actuation of switches EMW ELEKTRO-MOTOREN-FEINBAUWER GROSCHOPP & CO GmbH 21 Aug 1970 [22 Aug 1969] 40467/70 Heading H1N [Also in Division E1] A driving apparatus for a venetian blind comprises an electric motor geared to a shaft 11, two control spindles 14, 15 which carry nuts 16, 17 to operate limit switches 12, 13 stopping the motor and which are disengageably geared to the shaft. The control shafts are normally connected by dogs 23 on bushes 21, 22 to gear wheels 19, 20 engaging gearing (18, Figs. 2 and 4, not shown) on the shaft 11, and the nuts 16, 17 respectively operate the limit switches to stop the blind in its upper and lower positions. To adjust one of these positions, the nut is positioned to operate the switch and a lever 26, 27 then pivoted manually to move the shaft 14, 15 axially and disengage the bush 21, 22 from the wheel 19, 20 so that the blind can be driven to a new position, the shaft then being recoupled.
