Ground anchors.-A ground anchor for the cable of a plough or similar machine driven by a motor or by hand power comprises a frame 1 adapted to lie on the ground and provided with ground penetrating arms 2 formed if desired with broad flukes, the frame carrying an horizontal bar 3 provided at spaced intervals with notches 4 to which the end of the cable is attached for successive traverses of the field.
