Abstract

1291312 Pesticidal application of benzimidazole derivatives E I DU PONT DE NEMOURS & CO 22 July 1970 35544/70 Heading A5E [Also in Division C2] Compounds of the formula: in which R is methyl and ethyl and A is a methylene, ethylene or vinylene radical optionally substituted by one or two methyl, chlorine or bromine substituents; an ethylene pump substituted by a methylene pulp; or an o-phenylene radical, are used as active agents in miticidal and fungicidal compositions. The compositions may also contain conventional diluents and extenders and other known pesticides as well as other agricultural chemicals, such as fruit set agents, fruit thinning agents and fertilisers. Long lists of these additional constituents are supplied. The fungicides and miticides may be used for the protection of plants, wool, leather, fabrics, fibre board, paper and other organic materials.
