Abstract

1284651 Compositions comprising 1-naphthyl-N-methylcarbumate SCIENTIFIC DEVELOPMENT CO of SA (PTY) Ltd 26 Feb 1970 [7 March 1969] 9408/70 Heading A5E [Also in Division C2] A pesticidal concentrate includes up to 30% by weight of 1-naphthyl-N-methylcarbamate dissolved in polyethylene glycol stabilised with a suitable acid. The concentrate may be dissolved or dispersed in a suitable diluent e.g. an organic solvent or water; in the case of water a fine dispersion of the carbamate being obtained. Other active ingredients such as benzalkonium chloride, trichloro-hydroxydiphenyl ether, chloro-p-phenoxytol, N-octylbicycloheptene dicarboximide, di-n-propyl isocincpomeronate, piperonyl butoxide, rotenone or pyrethrins may also be present. The composition may be in the form of a solution, dip, spray, aerosol, gel, shampoo, etc.
