128,219. Aktiebolaget Svenska Kullagerfabriken. June 14, 1918, [Convention date]. Ball bearings.-A double-acting thrust ball bearing is provided with means for taking up slackness in the row of balls which is not under load, comprising a resilient sleeve 7 drawing the race rings 3, 4 together. The sleeve 7 has a helical slot 8 or a number of staggered slots at right-angles to the axis of the bearing. If the rings 3, 4 rotate with the shaft, the central ring 5 being stationary, the sleeve 7 is placed on the shaft and is furnished with flanges confining the rings 3, 4.
