Abstract

ESCAUT ET VALLOUREC REUNIES 4 Aug 1969 [6 Aug 1968] 38997/69 Heading F2P [Also in Division E1] A fencing port comprises a hollow metal tube 1 having an integral point 3 and a series of grooves 2 by which connecting collars 7 or 13 are secured thereto by keys passing through rectangular slots 10 or 16 and engaging said grooves. The collars are used for connecting rails of a rail and bar fence, attaching and tensioning core rack panels, for attaching hinges of a gate, or for attaching a stay bar, with an integral ground engaging spike. Alternatively the grooves may be used for locating wire strainers or wire securing clips in wire fencing or for attaching brackets to support irrigation pipes. A detachable spade shaped member 5 provides additional bracing in the ground.
