1280268 Alloy steels NIPPON KOKAN K K 12 June 1970 [21 June 1969] 28535/70 Heading C7A An alloy consists in percent by weight of:- Mn 0.30 - 0À90 Ni 8.50 - 9.50 Al 0À020 - 0.060 N 0.008 - 0.020 P up to 0À011 S up to 0À010 Fe and incidental impurities The alloy is stated to be suitable for low temperature service. The steel may after rolling be normalized at 800‹C., optionally quenched in water and then tempered at 575‹C. for 1 hour.
