Abstract

1276929 Eyebrow pattern template K HAMADA 3 June 1969 27980/69 Heading ASR An eyebrow pattern template for positioning over an eyebrow while making a desired shape of the eyebrow with an eyebrow pencil, comprises a pair of transparent curved eyebrow pieces 1, 1' each piece including on its surface a plurality of grooves, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, a centrally projecting member 4, and a slit (6), Figs. 4 and 13, (not shown) cut into the base of member 4 and communicating with a rectangular slot (5) beneath the member 4. The apparatus is fixed to the head of a user by an adjustable ribbon loop 17 with a clip 18 at one end and an elastic cord 13 at the other, the cord passing through the slot (5) of both pieces, lying in one of the grooves, and engaging the catch 18 with a hook 15. The pieces, which may be of a plastics material, are held in place by the cord 13 while the eyebrow shape may be marked around upper or lower edges 2, 3 respectively. The grooves allow the pieces to be rotated about their centres so that different directions for the eyebrows may be selected. The rear surface of each piece may have a ridge (19) dividing it into two compensating curved faces (20, 21) for fitting onto the eyebrow, so that each pair of pieces may be interchanged with each other.
