A shop-fitting has a plurality of rearwardly upwardly inclined shelves 1 one above the other, each having at or adjacent its forward edge a narrow upstanding retaining lip 7 the spaces between adjacent pairs of at least some of the shelves being sub-divided by partitions 6, the forward ends of the partitions being cut away to facilitate grasping articles contacting the lip.
