Abstract
1,264,865. Boxes. RAION YUSHI K.K. 21 March, 1969 [4 April, 1968], No. 15022/69. Heading B8P. The top of a carton box having a tear-up handle has inner top lateral flaps la, 1b stuck together at their overlap, and completely overlapping outer flaps 2, 3, stuck at their peripheral part to the inner flaps but each having a central portion 21, 31 which may be cut free and raised at fold lines 23, 35 to form the handle by pressing perforated flap 33 about fold line 34 so that it passes through a hole 22 in the other handle portion 21. The inner flaps may have a perpendicular butt joint (Fig. 5, not shown). Alternatively, the inner flaps may be replaced by a single flap (4) which may have a perforated region (41) under the handles for tearing out a dispensing opening (Fig. 6, not shown).
