[Also in Division G2] An original fed in at 1 trips a microswitch 50 which starts copy sheet drive rollers 10, 271, 272. When copy 2 trips a switch 52, rollers 10, 271, 272 are switched off until the original trips a switch 51. Thus the copy 2 waits at 52 until the original reaches 51 and simultaneous arrival of original and copy at the exposure station 57, 58 is ensured. Copy 2 passes to the exposure station direct from a charging station 222, the absence of any intervening member avoiding the dangers of charge loss and speed differences. The optical system comprises an objection O and an adjustable mirror 19. Copy sheet feeding (Fig. 2).-A stack 66 of copy sheets is aligned against dogs 29, and then a rod 64 is lowered e.g. by closing the machine's cover (not shown).
