Abstract

1,262,141. Razors. C. F. BROUNCKER. 25 Feb., 1970 [26 Feb., 1969], No. 10144/69. Heading B4B. A shaving-lubricant, dispenser for a razor having head portion for a blade and a handle 11, the dispenser including a lubricant-applicator roller 3 connected to a clip 1 which may be removably mounted on the handle such that during a stroke of the razor over the skin, lubricant can be continuously deposited thereon by the roller as it rolls on-the skin in front of the cutting edge 12 of the blade. The roller 3 is of foam plastics material mounted on a metal tube 7 which is rotatable on the ends 6 of a wire support 2; the support is secured to the clip 1 by bent-over lugs 10. In a modification, the wire support is bent under the clip (Fig. 4, not shown) or secured thereto by welding (Fig. 5, not shown).
