Abstract

1,260,383. Tents. A. L. I. LINDSTROM. 21 Jan., 1969 [11 April, 1968], No. 3408/69. Heading E1A. A framework for a marquee comprises a prefabricated base construction 1, 2 to which arch members 7 are pivotally connected for movement from an inclined position resting on brackets carried by short posts 11 to a vertical position in which they are connected to the latter. Members 27 serve as an anchorage for the cover which is attached thereto by resilient means, see Figs. 5 and 6 (not shown). The arch members 7 are interconnected by rails 17 and erected with the aid of a pole 20 having a wheel 23 and a pull rope 25.
