Abstract

125,500. Burke, J. P., and George, E. C. April 15, 1918. Hair-pins.-A hair-pin of the type in which the prongs are adapted to be interlocked by rotation after insertion in the hair, comprises two substantially straight legs, connected by a loop 10 forming a portion of a helix, and provided with bends 12, 13 which are helical in form. In operation, after insertion, the ends are held and the head twisted in a clockwise direction to cause the bends 12, 13 to interlock.
