F l u i d actuating - mechanism.-A steam valve 74, Figs. 2 and 4, used in connexion with an hydraulic intensifier is connected to a weighted lever 87 and is adapted to be manually operated at will from a lever 99, and also automatically when the hydraulic pressure in the intensifier reaches a predetermined value, a pipe 94 connecting the hydraulic pressure pipe 72 with a cylinder 93, in which is a piston 92 connected to the lever 87.
