Abstract

1,249,673. Interlocking metal sheets. ARMCO STEEL CORP. 27 Nov., 1968, No. 56316/ 68. Headings E1K and E1W.. A panel 10 has two flanges one on each of two opposed sides, each flange having an upstanding part 11 or 14, a transverse part 11 or 17 and a return 13 or 18. As shown the flanges of adjacent panels interlock with the transverse parts 11, 14 contacting only in the central portions so as to form a space S which is filled with sealant and a space B which serves as a siphon break. The outer flange 13 is crimped at 25. Other interlocking flanges of different configuration but of the same basic construction are also shown.
