[Also in Divisions A5, C2 and C6] Ketones of the formula:- in which the dotted lines represent a double bond in position 1 or position 2 or two double bonds in positions 1 and 3 are used as flavouring ingredients in foodstuffs, animal foods and tobacco products. Examples are given of a flavouring composition containing a ketone of the above formula and its use in the making of a pudding, cake, cooked sugar and honey.
