Abstract

1240098 Marking device PRECISION VALVE CORP 20 Feb 1970 [24 Feb 1969] 8397/70 Headings F1R R3AD2 and R3A3D9 [Also in Division B6] A marking device comprises a marking member having a surface for contacting a target, one or more grooves in the said surface, said grooves communicating with a marking material inlet passage provided in said marking member. As shown in Fig. 2 a reversible marking device 18 is in the form of a cylinder having a central bore 31 and radial grooves 38, 42 on its end-faces. Central bore 31 is used to attach the device 18 to the valve stem of an aerosol container. Fig. 3 shows the device in use.
