Abstract

1,234,416. Fluid-pressure servomotor systems. INTERNATIONAL BASIC ECONOMY CORP. Aug. 14, 1968 [Aug.25, 1967], No.38950/68. Heading G3P. The product of output pressure and volume per stroke of a variable displacement pump are maintained constant by a valve 28 controlling the fluidpressure applied to stroke adjusting means 14 and subjected to pump output pressure P, the valve acting against a loading means 45 through a lever 36 having a pivot 39 movable with the stroke adjusting means 14. The annular space 22 above a piston 19 on the stroke adjusting means 14 is connected by a pipe 23 with the output pressure of the pump and a supply port 25 of the valve 28 which connects the space 61 below the piston 19 either with the supply port 25 or with an exhaust port 31 in response to output pressure variations. The loading spring 45 is manually adjustable and may be replaced by a weight or by remotely controlled fluid-pressure acting on a piston. (For Figure see next page)
