Abstract
1,234,104. Watch straps. TOPPS OF ENGLAND Ltd. 22 May, 1969 [23 May, 1963], No. 24774/68. Heading A3H. A watch strap comprises a strap member 11 adapted to encircle the wrist and having a pair of longitudinally spaced slots 16, 17 through which are threaded the ends of a loop member 12, the ends being releasably secured by fastener means 19, 22. The strap 11, e.g. two layers of leather, or imitation leather, has two transverse slots 16, 17 spaced apart so that the front-facing part of the loop 12, also of leather or imitation, can extend across the front sides of the trunnions of a watch and behind the back of the watch casing to secure it to the watch strap. The ends of the loop 12 are interconnected and secured to the underside of the watch strap 11 by a press stud, the male member 19 of which is attached to one end 18 of the loop and passed through an aperture 21 in the other loop end to engage the female member 22 attached to the watch strap.
