If desired, the male and female fasteners can be disengaged,
' and the purse carried separately in conventional exposed manner. I
While I have described my invention with particular reference to the drawings such is not to be considered as'limitwaist by the straps, out of sight, and inaccessible to would-be thieves and purse snatchers.
BRIEF EscRiPTioNpF THE DRAWINGS lri the drawings: F lG. l is a perspective view of my invention in'use;
FIG. 2 is a detail view of a portion of the strap;
FIG. 3 is a detail front view of the purse with an engaged 2 portion of the strap;
FIG. 4 is a side view of the structure shown in FIG. 3; and v FIG. 5 is. a view similar to FIGS but showing the parts detached.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF PREFERRED,
EMBODIMENTS Referring now to FIGS. l-5, a shoulder encircling strap.l0 has a buckle 12 at one end and buckle engaging holes 14 at the other end whereby the strap can form a closed loop variable in size.
The lowest portion of the strap which extends to the waist of I a wearer along side the shoulder about which the strap does ing its actual scope.
I claim: 1-. An improved strap supported purse, comprising a. an elongated flat shoulder strap,

e. each of said suspending means including therein adjacent to the end thereof a first fastening means, 1 f. a purse means, having at least front, rear, side, and bottom walls, I g. a plurality of second fastening means equal in number of said plural first fastening means h. said second fastening means being carried bysaid front wall in the identical spacing of that of said first fastening means and being arranged along an axis below and generally parallel to the upper edge of said front wall,
i. said first and second fastening means comprising a plurality of pairs of fastening means,
j. each of saidpairs of fastening means comprising a maleelement and a female element matable therewith, k. said am being spaced below said upper edge of said purse a distance substantially equal to, and not greater than, the
length of said suspending means, and
l. said purse thereby being detachably supported from said strap immediately adjacent to the lower edge thereof in a manner whereby said purse and said strap are substan tially nested,
