Abstract

1,233,393. Rail vehicles. BLAKDALE PRODUCTS Ltd. 1 April, 1969 [1 April, 1968], No. 15481/68. Heading B7L. [Also in Divisions A4 and F2] A storage bay 1 comprises a wheeled chassis (2) at least one wheel of which is coupled to a power input shaft (9) which is driven by a portable motor 14 which is releasably secured to the shaft. A mobile storage equipment installation comprises a plurality of bays 1 which run on floor tracks 3. The power input unit comprises spaced parallel input and output shafts which engage axially with the driving motor and an axle (7) of the storage bay respectively, the shafts being interconnected by a belt or sprocket chain drive.
