Abstract

A non-circular waterproof watch case comprises a glass 9 held by a bezel 1, an annular holder 2 for housing a watch movement 7, and having a circular threaded opening receiving a threaded cylindrical wall portion 38 of a circular back cover member 6 holding a non-circular peripheral portion 37 of a closing member 5 pressed against a non-circular edge portion of the bezel 1, and means such as screws 32 Fig. 2 (not shown) or a locking ring 3 having peripheral lugs 18, removably and rigidly securing the holder 2 to the bezel 1. The member 5 bear upon or is integral with an annular member 4 and gaskets 10, 11, 12 are provided to seal the joints between the parts 9, 1, 4, 5, and 6.
