Abstract

1,194,640. Watches. SUWA SEIKOSHA K. K. Aug.19, 1968 [Aug. 22, 1967], No.39626/68. Heading G3T. A watch case body 3 has secured therein a ring 11 axially spaced from a ring 5 to define a recess for receiving an annular collar 8 on the movement 1 whereby the movement can be secured to the case body without the use of screws. The ring 5 is urged against the roller 8 by a thrust surface 6 on the back cover 2 when the latter is screwed into the case body 3. A sealing ring 20 is interposed between the parts 2, 3. In an alternative embodiment the sealing ring 12 Fig. 5 (not shown) is interposed between the back cover 2 and the ring 5 and the case body 3.
