122,597. Still &. Sons, W. M., and Still, F. G. Aug. 27, 1918. Fluid-actuated fuel valves for water heaters.- Relates to a gas-heated boiler in which the gas valve 16 is opened by a spring when the pressure in a bellows 14 pressing on the valve and connected to the water outlet pipe 15 is relieved by the opening of the water outlet cock, as described in Specification 10848/03, and consists in forming a contraction 15<a> in the outlet pipe, and in connecting the pipe 13 leading from the bellows to the outlet pipe above the contraction. The pronounced drop of pressure produced by the contraction gives a prompt actuation of the gas valve.
