Abstract

1,225,249. Rectifier assemblies. JOSEPH LUCAS (INDUSTRIES) Ltd. 25 July, 1968 [8 Sept., 1967], No. 41065/67. Heading H1K. A multi-phase full-wave rectifier (Fig. 2) consists of a threaded bolt 21 carrying a pair of conductive plates 27, 28 and insulating plate 29. Each conductive plate carries in resinsealed recesses a number of diode rectifier elements equal to the number of phases which are electrically connected at their anodes and cathodes respectively to the plate and at their other electrodes to phase plates carried by the insulating plate. In the arrangement shown, the insulating plate carries a further recessed conductive plate 34 bearing diodes 15 for which it provides a common terminal, the diodes being wired at their other electrodes to the respective phase plates to provide a subsidiary output.
