Abstract

1,222,052. Valves. INDESIT INDUSTRIA ELETTRODOMESTICI ITALIANA S.p.A. 17 Jan., 1969 [24 Jan., 1968], No. 2899/69. Heading F2V. A non-return valve for a dish-washing machine has a flexible diaphragm 8 with a central rigid portion 10 for co-operation with a seat 13. A circular row of holes 12 surrounds the central portion and permits flow through the diaphragm in valve open position. The diaphragm which is of rubber is enlarged in the central region and reinforced in this region by a plastics stiffener 11. The hollow casing 1 and cover 5 are moulded from plastics.
