Abstract

1,219,086. Posting tray. ALPA PLASTICS Ltd. 19 Feb., 1968 [30 March, 1967], No. 14603/67. Heading B6E. A posting tray for index cards is made from plastics material and includes a base 1, a first pair of opposite sides of which is provided with spaced upstanding flanges 14, 15 between which are received the side walls 6 of wall members 2, 3 hinged to the other pair of opposite sides of the base 1, whereby the width of the base is extended to prevent tilting of the posting tray. The wall members are deflected outwardly by flanges 8 hinged to the wall members 2, 3, and associated with integral actuating arms 11 which are guided in slots 7 by bolts 12 and pivoted downwardly by the outwardly deflected wall members 2, 3. The wall members 2, 3, which are actuated by respective handles 16 may be of different heights and/or provided with a cover lid.
