Abstract

1,172,377. Table articles. CEASE CENTRAL Inc. 16 Nov., 1966, No. 51406/66. Heading A4A. [Also in Division B8] The lid 18 of a multi-compartment tray 10 for prepared food prevents communication between the compartments and serves, when removed, as a serving plate. The walls of the tray extend above a marginal flange formed with a groove 15 into which the lid clips. Webs or projections 16 in the bases of the compartments separate the solid part of the food from the liquid. The tray may be of aluminium or plastics, and the lid of plastics or of china, glass or ceramic.
