Abstract

121,221. Campbell, J., and Campbell, G. Feb. 4, 1918. Animal traps.-In a noose trap for catching rabbits or hares, the free end H of the noose wire passes through an opening D in the top of a metal standard A and is threaded through one or more holes E. F, the end being coiled round a pin, stud, or hook G and wound finally round the standard. The standard is formed with a pointed or spiked end A' and is driven into the ground. A chain N engaging a loose collar K connects the device to a holdfast 0. A modification is described in which the. standard is bent round to form an end hole or loop corresponding to the opening D, a second similar hole or loop being formed at a lower level.
