[Also in Division G4] Pivotal movement of the lever 10 about the reduced diameter portion 11 deforms a resilient ring 15 to connect the normally pressurized chamber 2, which is formed with a restricted inlet 3 and an outlet 4, to exhaust via the aperture 8. Movement of the lever is by a fluid pressure control signal through pipe 21 acting on the diaphragm 18. Alternatively the diaphragm may form the wall of a closed chamber responsive to external heat or an internally disposed heater. The lever fulcrum may be a hinge or an elastomeric block acting as a plug 14. The valve may be used as a power amplifier in a fluid logic circuit or as a dump valve.
