Abstract

1,198,972. Valves. REEF-BAKER CORP. 7 Feb., 1969 [19 Aug., 1968; 4 Nov., 1968], No. 6878/69. Heading F2V. A valve for periodically removing condensate from a pressurized gas container 12 has a closure member 48 normally biased to close an outlet 46 from a liquid receiving chamber 36 and movable to an open position by an armature 68 having a pin 72 normally spaced from the closure member and actuated by an electromagnet coil 62 controlled by a timing mechanism to automatically open the valve at predetermined time intervals. A screen 24 prevents solid particles entering the valve and a heating coil 74 controlled by a thermostat prevents freezing of the condensate.
