Abstract

1,196,249. Trunking. ELECTRO MECHANICAL MFG. CO. Ltd. 26 Oct., 1967 [21 Nov., 1966], No. 51932/66. Heading H2C. A feeder pillar (e.g. for a power transformer T,) has adjustable trunking 2 having coplanar vertical side flanges (16) (Fig. 3, not shown) and integral upper and lower cover flanges 17, 18 of two different lengths so that either of them could be uppermost to increase the range of adjustment. Bus-bars 5 in a duet 4 may be flexibly connected via members 7 (34) (Figs. 7 and 8, not shown) to transformer terminals 11 in porcelain bushing 12. The trunking may be in two parts (2a) (2b) (Figs. 7 and 8, not shown) one having a removable hood (29) and the other adjustably connected to the transformer. The trunking may be clamped to duct 4 by angled members having a sealing gasket in the bends of the angles (Figs. 5 and 6, not shown).
